Every day is full of things to discover and do. It’s certainly never boring! Take a peek at some of the adventures our ALPLA KIDS get up to.
For the third year in a row, our big ALPLA KIDS family followed the Hardar Mufängar's invitation and joined the colorful party crowd.
The excitement among young and old was genuinely palpable! Being placed right behind the giant Toniebox of the Harder Binnabecka Biesler really put the Tonie—uh, we mean—the cherry on top of the whole experience.
The handmade lanterns created by our Minis & Maxis once again lit up the darkness, providing a beautiful backdrop for the theatre play, communal music-making, and lantern parades.
In addition, our Kinderhaus families truly embraced the spirit of sharing on St. Martin’s Day by contributing to delicious buffet spreads.
In June, we celebrated our beloved summer party with the entire ALPLA KIDS family in our garden again. Last year's highlights were not to be missed this year either. Linda's ice cream van and the photo box from fotobox4you were once again in great demand. We also strengthened our make-up team for the children's face painting to cope with the large crowds of kids. The event was rounded off with a wonderful show by our ALPLA KIDS Mixis and a tasty buffet provided by the children's house families.
In cooperation with the Vorarlberg Energy Institute, our Maxis carried out the ‘ Ein Königreich für die Zukunft’ (A Kingdom for the Future) project this year. Water, sun, wind, movement, heat, light and electricity - we discovered and explored a lot in every season and experienced energy holistically. On behalf of our kids, some of our team received the certificate from Provincial Councillor Daniel Zadra.
We are currently very excited about the annual project ‘Kleine Daumen, große Wirkung' (Small thumbs, big impact). We are introducing the children to the topics of climate change and climate protection in a playful way.
An annual highlight in our children's centre year is the photo session with Angela Lamprecht. The group and individual photos are a wonderful, valuable memory for the children's home families and our team. Some of our ALPLA KIDS act like absolute professionals and make us smile every now and then with their heart-warming humour.
On his community tour through Hard, a detour to our ALPLA KIDS was of course a must. Governor Markus Wallner was not only impressed by our wonderful children's houses, but above all by our great kids.
Our new website is now live, complete with lots of photos and even more information. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved: the team at Zeughaus Design for designing the website; Mathias at weltweit for programming; the ALPLA marketing team and especially Project Manager Yusuf Dünmez for coordinating everything. A big thanks, too, to our chairperson Uwe Breuder for his valuable input.
After being put on hold for several years, it was finally time for our summer party again at the end of June! Our new garden was the perfect location for a proper celebration with the whole ALPLA KIDS family. Face-painting, Linda’s ice-cream van and the fotobox4you photo booth guaranteed a good time was had by all.
Not only our children, but also the children's centre is getting bigger and bigger. Around 500 square metres more space is now offered by a new wooden building at the back, supplemented by a huge outdoor play area. Philipp Lehner (CEO) with the entire board and Provincial Governor Dr Barbara Schöbi-Fink were present at the opening.
